Boston Hypnosis Training is personal for me. I spent three years living in the Back Bay as a student at Berklee College of Music, near Boylston and Mass Ave, and Boston is where I first learned how a serious craft is taught. My father's work gave me the lineage, refined by pioneers I studied like Randall Churchill and Ormond McGill, and this city gave me the standard: an education in Massachusetts means depth, daily practice, and a teacher who stays in the room. That is precisely the education you get here.

Is Boston Hypnosis Training held in person or online?

Boston Hypnosis Training meets in a live, interactive online classroom, so the complete professional certification is available from the Back Bay to Cambridge and anywhere else in New England without a commute or a single night away. You train in real time with me and your fellow students, with supervised practice on every class day. This is not recorded coursework. It is a live classroom.

Does a Hypnotherapy Certification Mean Anything in a City of Universities?

Boston taught me what a real education looks like, so I hold this one to that standard. The certification runs 220 hours: 110 live and interactive, 110 self directed, daily supervised practice, five complete outside sessions, a written assignment, an exam, and a recorded session before you earn the designation. It certifies through IACT, recognized worldwide, with your first year of membership included. A certificate for attending is worth what it took to earn. This one takes work, and that is the point.

How Does Live Online Training Compare to a Classroom?

I learned music in Boston practice rooms, and that is exactly how this classroom works: you do not watch the craft, you do it, daily, with someone experienced listening. We discuss a technique from the manual, I demonstrate it live on a volunteer, and then you practice it immediately with a classmate in a breakout room, where an Ask for Help button brings me in the moment you need me. The room happens to be on Zoom. The rigor is the same as any conservatory.

Hypnotherapy Training

I just finished the class and found it eye opening! There is so much to learn and Mark is an encyclopedia related to hypnosis. You will learn the history of hypnosis, techniques and scripts to use. Most importantly you will learn your own style of practice. The more you practice the better you get! Thank you!

I Am Already a Therapist. What Does This Add?

Speed, mostly, and depth. New England is full of skilled clinicians whose talk based work moves at the pace of the conscious mind. Hypnotherapy reaches the level where patterns are actually stored, which is why LCSWs, psychotherapists, counselors and nurses keep showing up in my cohorts. Techniques like parts work and regression to cause let you help a client find and release a block in far less time than talking around it, and your license remains your baseline authority throughout.

What Is the Time Commitment From Boston?

Class runs 10:00 to 6:00 Central, which is 11:00 to 7:00 Eastern, Thursday through Sunday every other week, twelve days across three modules. A standard work week gives up just six days across the whole certification. The 110 self directed hours, reading, video study and practice sessions, happen on your own schedule, and the final fourteen hours come a few weeks after the last module, once you have real sessions to talk about.

What Does the Training Cost?

The tuition is posted above, with an early bird rate for registering at least six weeks ahead and a deposit that holds your seat while the balance spreads over months, interest free. For context in a city that knows education pricing: the complete 220 hour certification costs less than a single semester of most graduate programs, and most of my students recoup it within their first twenty paying clients, or fewer.

What is your connection to Boston?

I spent three years living in the Back Bay as a student at Berklee College of Music, in the neighborhood around Boylston and Mass Ave, and they were some of the great years of my life. Boston is where I first learned how a serious craft is actually taught: live, supervised, and daily, with a teacher who stays in the room. I applied that lesson to music first and to hypnotherapy ever since, so teaching students from Boston always feels a little like sending something back.

Boston gave me three of the best years of my life and my first lesson in how mastery is actually built. Master these techniques through daily supervised practice and you carry that same standard to the clients waiting across New England, taught by someone whose own training story began a few blocks off Boylston.

Frequently Asked Questions

A personal one. Mark spent three years living in the Back Bay as a student at Berklee College of Music, near Boylston and Mass Ave, before his careers in music, programming, and finally hypnotherapy. He credits Boston with teaching him how a serious craft is taught: live, supervised, and daily.

Yes. Our IACT certification is fully recognized in Massachusetts and internationally, a professional credential respected well beyond New England.

Classes run 10:00 to 6:00 Central Time, which is 11:00 in the morning to 7:00 in the evening in Boston. A full day, and not an early one.

Absolutely. This foundational 110 hour live training is the specific prerequisite required for those in the Boston area moving toward Life Between Lives (LBL) work.

Then we spread it out. You can lock in your rate with an $895 deposit and pay the balance over several months, interest free, on a schedule we build together. I have never wanted money to be the reason someone with a real calling stays where they are. Bring it up on the discovery call and we will work out something that feels comfortable rather than something that keeps you up at night.

No. Real clinical confidence is built, not born. A lot of people assume this work requires an innate talent you either have or you do not, and that belief keeps good people out of a profession they would be wonderful in. Hypnosis is a structured, systematic, teachable skill. We break the induction into simple logical steps, you watch it done, you do it yourself, and you get proof it works in your hands within the first few hours of class. You also do not have to memorize a library of scripts, because the client's own words give you what you need to guide the session. That is the part that surprises people most.

Schedule a Discovery Call A relaxed 20 minute conversation about your goals. No pressure, no obligation to enroll.
