Mesa Hypnosis Training is delivered through a live, interactive online classroom, so the complete professional certification is open to you from Dobson Ranch to Las Sendas, Gilbert to Apache Junction, Queen Creek down to Chandler, with the 60 left entirely out of it. Live demonstration and supervised practice, every class day.

This is a complete 220 hour professional certification taught personally by second generation hypnotherapist Mark Johnson, delivered through a live, interactive online classroom. You practice on real people every single class day, under live supervision, and graduate ready to see paying clients.

Like the load nobody schedules for. What Does the Certification Involve for East Valley Students?

The complete 220 hours from home: 110 live across three Thursday through Sunday modules, every other week, on Arizona’s own clock, 8 to 4 during daylight saving months and 9 to 5 in winter, plus 110 self directed hours including five real practice sessions with people outside class. Six days off a standard job covers the live half.

You certify through the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, recognized worldwide, first year of membership included, with six months of the Good Vibes Hypnosis Training Mentorship Program, a live group session on the third Tuesday of every month, while the East Valley learns your name.

Is Mesa its own market or just greater Phoenix?

Half a million people is its own market by any honest count, and the East Valley behaves like one: its own school districts, its own churches, its own word of mouth webs that rarely cross the 101. Phoenix and Scottsdale have their own pages and their own scenes. Mesa families would rather see someone from Mesa, and there is currently no one to see.

Almost every student arrives carrying this fear, so we take it head on, on day one. You will learn the Dave Elman induction, a technique that has been working for over a hundred years and takes five or six minutes to guide someone into a deep, relaxed state. Then comes the moment I love watching. In your very first practice trade you will guide your partner to close their eyes and tell them their eyelids are locked shut, sealed, and to try to open them. They try. They cannot. Something shifts in both of you right then. That is not a mystical gift showing up, it is a structured skill working exactly the way it is built to, and you did it on your first day.

More than most schools offer, because graduation is where the real questions start. The post training block comes after you have been out practicing, which is when those questions finally show up. You keep access to the resource library for good, and your first year of IACT membership and certification is included, which connects you to a professional body rather than leaving you on your own. Graduates also join the Good Vibes Hypnosis Training Mentorship Program, a live 90 minute group session on the third Tuesday of every month where we work through your cases, your sticking points and your practice building together. Six months of the program are included as part of your tuition, and you are welcome to continue with the group after that. And classmates tend to stay in touch and keep trading sessions long after class ends, which I encourage, because the person who watched you learn this is the person who will still take your call at nine at night when a session rattles you.
