The complete 220 hours from home, 110 live across three Thursday through Sunday modules, every other week, running 8 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon Pacific, plus 110 self directed hours including five real practice sessions with people outside class. Six days off a standard job covers the live half, and most students recoup tuition within their first twenty paying clients.

You certify through the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, recognized worldwide, first year of membership included, with six months of the Good Vibes Hypnosis Mentor Circle, a live group session on the third Tuesday of every month, keeping the furnace at temperature through year one.

Does Tacoma need its own practitioner with Seattle up the road?

Ask anyone who has driven that road at 5pm. The South Sound is a million people with its own port, its own base, its own hospitals and its own identity, and the practical truth is that nothing north of the county line counts as local once traffic is factored in. Classes run 10:00 to 6:00 Central Time, which is 8:00 in the morning to 4:00 in the afternoon Pacific for Tacoma students. Early start, evenings free.

Regularly, yes. Students from Washington, Oregon and California are a steady presence in these classes, so practice partners in your own time zone come built in.

What you earn is up to you, because this is typically self employed work. Three things decide it, and you control all three. What you charge, how many people you see, and how you set up your business.

I would rather show you how the math works than quote an average. The published figures blend employees with private practices and full timers with part timers, so they tell you very little about what you would actually earn.

How you charge makes the biggest difference. Some practitioners charge by the session, some by the hour, and some by the solution, where the client pays for the result rather than the time. That last approach rewards you for being effective, and a practitioner working that way can cover the cost of this training with a handful of clients.

From there it grows as your practice grows, which is why the business side is built into the training rather than saved for later. My own advice is to build alongside your current income the way I did, so you grow into it at your own pace.

No, and I would gently push back on the premise. A great deal of what makes someone good at this work is life lived. Knowing what grief actually feels like, what a hard marriage feels like, what raising children or losing a parent does to a person. Students come to me in their fifties and sixties saying their heart is finally coming back to where they wanted it decades ago, before someone told them there was no money in it. They are often the best practitioners in the room, because a client can feel that they are talking to someone who has been somewhere.
