Is Phoenix Hypnosis Training held in person or online?

Phoenix Hypnosis Training happens in a live, interactive online classroom, so the full professional certification is open from Scottsdale to Mesa and anywhere else in the Valley, with no drive and no travel expense. You train with me in real time, in live demonstrations and daily supervised practice. This is not a recording collection. It is a live classroom.

This is a complete 220 hour professional certification taught personally by second generation hypnotherapist Mark Johnson, delivered through a live, interactive online classroom. You practice on real people every single class day, under live supervision, and graduate ready to see paying clients.

No, and I say that as someone born into the most hypnotic household imaginable. My father studied with Dave Elman himself, and even with that inheritance, my skill came the same way yours will: structured technique, live demonstration, daily supervised repetition, honest feedback. You will feel the Elman induction work in your own hands during your first day of class. What people call the gift is simply practice that started earlier.

How Do Class Hours Work With Arizona Time?

Better than almost anywhere, with one seasonal wrinkle. Class runs 10:00 to 6:00 Central. Since Arizona skips daylight saving, that lands 8:00 to 4:00 during the summer months and 9:00 to 5:00 in winter, either way a clean daytime schedule with your evenings intact. We meet Thursday through Sunday every other week, three modules, so a standard job surrenders only six days across the entire certification.

Beyond the Valley

Will My Practice Be Limited to Phoenix?

Only if you want it to be. Training over a live camera means remote sessions are your native format from day one, so the practice you graduate into reaches wherever your calendar does. My graduates see Valley clients in the morning and clients in other states or countries in the afternoon. For a Phoenix practitioner, summers alone make that flexibility worth having.

What happened to the in person Arizona classes?

They became this, and they got better in the move. I taught in person in Phoenix for years, and when the whole training went live online in 2020 I discovered the format kept everything that mattered, the demonstrations, the daily supervised practice, the personal mentoring, and shed the travel costs and calendar gymnastics. Arizona students now get the same education without waiting for me to come to town.

Sometimes it takes a while. Sometimes it takes one afternoon, and that still surprises me after all these years. I worked with a woman on confidence and boundaries for three sessions, then did not hear from her for a year, until I ran into her at a market. She told me that on the evening of the third session her controlling partner came over looking for a fight, and instead of shrinking the way she always had, she simply stood there and spoke calmly. He was so thrown that he took her house key off his keyring, set it on the table, and left. She never needed a fourth session. Working with the subconscious directly is not slow work.
