My name is Mark Johnson, and I am a second generation hypnotherapist. I did not discover hypnosis in a weekend seminar. I grew up around it, watched it change lives up close, and eventually built my own practice on it. Along the way I learned the difference between hypnosis that soothes and hypnosis that transforms, and that difference is exactly what I teach.

Today I train practitioners across the country through Good Vibes Hypnosis Training. The program carries certification through the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, recognized worldwide, and I serve as a Career Partner with the Newton Institute, so this training also opens the door to spiritual regression work if that path ever calls to you. How Does Live Online Training
Actually Work?

This is a complete professional certification, delivered live online. You will spend 110 hours in live instruction with me, matched by 110 hours of self-directed study, for a full 220 hour education. Every single class day includes supervised practice, because you do not learn hypnotherapy by watching it. You learn it by doing it, with real people, while someone experienced watches and guides you.

In breakout rooms you will receive personal mentoring on your inductions, your language, and your presence. You will practice conversational, interactive techniques that respond to the client in front of you instead of a script in your lap. And by the time you finish, you will have guided enough real sessions under supervision that seeing your first paying client feels like a natural next step rather than a leap of faith.

Not anymore, and here is the honest history. For years I traveled to teach in person, holding classes in cities around the country. The full certification is now delivered live online, which means students in Cleveland train with me in real time without waiting for a tour date that might never come back around. The education is the same one I taught in person, the same manual, the same live demonstrations, the same supervised practice. What changed is that you no longer need me to bring it to your city, because it is already there.

No. Every hour of the certification, the live classes, the demonstrations, the supervised practice, the exam, happens from your home in Cleveland. No flights, no hotel bills, no two weeks away from your family or your work. That cost used to be the silent extra tuition of professional training, and removing it is one of the reasons students tell me the program turned out to be more workable than they expected when they first looked at it.

This is 220 hours, half of it live with me, with supervised practice on every single class day, five complete sessions with people outside of class before you certify, a written assignment, an exam, and a recorded session you submit. Hypnosis is a self regulated field, and in most of the country there is no state licensing board or government exam standing between you and practice. Your professional standing comes from certification through a recognized body such as IACT. That said, a handful of states do have specific rules about what you may call yourself in your marketing, or ask unlicensed practitioners to use a simple client disclosure form or register with the state. We go through the rules that apply to you in class, so you are not guessing when you set up your website and your intake paperwork. If you already hold a clinical license, that license remains your baseline authority and you are in a strong position from the start.
