Augusta Hypnosis Training is delivered through a live, interactive online classroom, so the complete professional certification is open to you from Summerville to Martinez, Evans to Grovetown, North Augusta across the river and Aiken beyond it, with Washington Road in tournament week left to the patrons. Live demonstration and supervised practice, every class day.

This is a complete 220 hour professional certification taught personally by second generation hypnotherapist Mark Johnson, delivered through a live, interactive online classroom. You practice on real people every single class day, under live supervision, and graduate ready to see paying clients.

How Does an Augusta Practice Reach Beyond Augusta?

Two states from one chair. The Savannah River is a border, not a barrier: North Augusta and Aiken put South Carolina clients ten minutes away, and online sessions extend the practice up the I-20 corridor toward Columbia and back toward Atlanta’s eastern suburbs at CSRA overhead. The IACT certification is recognized in both Georgia and South Carolina, so the river runs through the market, not around it.

Word of mouth in the CSRA moves through hospitals, churches and neighborhoods that have known each other for generations, and it compounds for the only certified practitioner on the map.

You certify through the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, recognized worldwide, first year of membership included, with six months of the Good Vibes Hypnosis Training Mentorship Program, a live group session on the third Tuesday of every month, reading every green with you through year one.

It happens, and having an answer ready is the difference between panicking and staying in charge of the session. I had a very analytical client sit with me who, after twenty minutes of deep relaxation work, announced that he was not hypnotized, that he could still feel the sofa underneath him and hear the air conditioner running. He was right about all of it. Hypnosis does not switch off your senses or knock you unconscious. So I asked him to close his eyes, imagine standing up, and slowly turn a full circle three times. On the third turn he dropped straight into his fourth birthday party, describing the pinata hanging over his head. You will leave here with a whole library of those quiet nudges, one for every kind of brain that sits in your chair.

It does, and I am blunt about it in class. Plenty of certifying organizations will tell you a free listing in their member directory brings clients. In twenty plus years I have not seen that happen. So instead I show you what has actually kept my own practice full. You will learn how to set up a Google Business Profile properly and collect real reviews, which is the lifeblood of a local practice now. You will learn how to build ethical relationships with doctors, counselors and chiropractors, because when a client stops smoking or finds relief from chronic pain, their doctor asks how, and that one question starts a referral snowball. And we talk about the grassroots side, using local meetups, meditation groups and community groups to get your first sessions and your first war stories under your belt.
