Atlanta Hypnosis Training is delivered through an immersive, live, interactive online classroom. You complete the full professional certification from Atlanta, or anywhere in Georgia, training in real time with me and your fellow students, with no commute and no travel expense. This is not a library of recordings. It is a live classroom, and you are in it.

This is a complete 220 hour professional certification taught personally by second generation hypnotherapist Mark Johnson, delivered through a live, interactive online classroom. You practice on real people every single class day, under live supervision, and graduate ready to see paying clients.

Can I Really Build a Hypnotherapy Career in Atlanta?

You can, and the way Atlanta works is actually on your side. This is a city where people invest in themselves, in coaches, in counselors, in growth of every kind, and the appetite for real subconscious work runs well ahead of the number of practitioners trained to deliver it. I held in person classes in Atlanta for years before the training moved online, so I have watched Georgia students build practices firsthand.

The Schedule

How Does the Training Fit Around a Full Time Job?

Deliberately. We meet Thursday through Sunday, every other week, three modules, twelve days in total. If you work a standard Monday to Friday week in Atlanta, that is six days off work across the whole certification, not a career interruption. Class runs 10:00 to 6:00 Central, which is 11:00 in the morning to 7:00 in the evening your time, and the 110 self directed hours happen whenever your life allows.

What If I Freeze Up in a Real Session?

We settle that question on day one. You learn the Dave Elman induction, a technique more than a hundred years old that guides someone into deep relaxation in five or six minutes, and then you immediately use it on a classmate in a supervised breakout room. When your partner tries to open their eyes and cannot, something shifts in you permanently. And you are never alone in those rooms: there is an Ask for Help button on your screen, and pressing it brings me or a teaching assistant in immediately.

No, and I would gently push back on the premise. A great deal of what makes someone good at this work is life lived. Knowing what grief actually feels like, what a hard marriage feels like, what raising children or losing a parent does to a person. Students come to me in their fifties and sixties saying their heart is finally coming back to where they wanted it decades ago, before someone told them there was no money in it. They are often the best practitioners in the room, because a client can feel that they are talking to someone who has been somewhere.

Then it is not right yet, and that is a completely fine answer. I have said this to people for years: when the time is right, the session happens, and when the time is right, the class happens.
