Anchorage Hypnosis Training brings a second generation education to the Last Frontier. I grew up inside my father's hypnosis practice and refined the craft under masters like Gil Boyne and Gerald Kein, and Alaska students receive that lineage without leaving the state that needs it, the classroom finally comes north.

Is Anchorage Hypnosis Training held in person or online?

Anchorage Hypnosis Training is delivered through a live, interactive online classroom, so the complete professional certification is open to you from downtown to Midtown, South Anchorage to Eagle River, Wasilla to Palmer and Girdwood down the arm, with the Glenn at rush hour left entirely out of it. Live demonstration and supervised practice, every class day.

What Does Extreme Latitude Do to Sleep and Mood?

It removes the margin for error. The June sun at midnight tells every nervous system in the state to stay on duty, the January dark tells it to shut down at three in the afternoon, and Alaskans run their lives across that swing with blackout curtains, willpower and coffee. Sleep work is the bread and butter of this profession everywhere; at this latitude it is closer to essential infrastructure, and the techniques, state control, deliberate wind down, subconscious level rescheduling, are precisely what the swing demands.

A practitioner here serves the most sleep challenged population in the country, year round, with no competition for the work.

Who Does an Anchorage Practice Serve?

People built for self reliance, carrying loads built for teams. The slope workers running two week rotations that scramble every rhythm they have, the fishing fleets compressing a year’s income and stress into a season, the base community managing deployment tempo at the edge of the map, the medical corridor that cares for a state from one city, and the bush pilots, guides and villagers for whom online sessions are not a convenience but the only possible door.

Alaska’s culture asks people to handle it themselves, and this craft, uniquely, agrees: every session builds the client’s own capacity, awareness intact, control never surrendered.

Hypnotherapy Training

I took Mark's class in June 2022. He is incredibly knowledgeable and patient. His Dropbox lessons are incredible, and I refer back to them often. Hypnosis has changed my life and is a gateway to the spirit realm I never knew was available to access and understand. It was well worth the money.

Why Train From Alaska Instead of Flying South?

Because the classroom now comes north. The full certification, live demonstration, supervised practice, real classmates, runs through the same online room from Girdwood as from Georgia, no Seattle flights, no hotel weeks, no leaving the state that needs the skill. Alaska has always paid an import premium on expertise; this is the rare chance to manufacture it locally.

And the credential exports as well as it imports: IACT certification is recognized worldwide, so the practice built here travels if life ever points south again.

What Does the Certification Involve for Alaska Students?

The complete 220 hours from home: 110 live across three Thursday through Sunday modules, every other week, running 7 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon Alaska time, an early start that hands you back the entire evening, plus 110 self directed hours including five real practice sessions with people outside class. Six days off a standard job covers the live half, and most students recoup tuition within their first twenty paying clients.

You certify through the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, recognized worldwide, first year of membership included, with six months of the Good Vibes Hypnosis Training Mentorship Program, a live group session on the third Tuesday of every month, base camp for the whole first year.

Can Alaska really support a full time practice?

Alaska supports what it cannot import, and this work cannot be imported any closer than Seattle, three and a half hours by air. Anchorage anchors nearly half the state’s population, the military bases add tens of thousands more, and online sessions reach Fairbanks, Juneau and every village with a connection, a state sized market with essentially zero certified coverage, as far as I can find. The first practitioner here is not entering a market. They are founding one.

Alaska tests inner weather like nowhere else and has never had a certified practitioner of the craft that trains it. Train live, practice daily under supervision, and carry an IACT certification recognized worldwide, founding the market rather than entering one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The IACT certification is recognized in Alaska and internationally, so your Anchorage practice is built on a credential recognized worldwide.

Classes run 10:00 to 6:00 Central Time, which is 7:00 in the morning to 3:00 in the afternoon Alaska time. An early start, and the entire evening handed back.

Often, yes. Service members, veterans and military families are regulars in these classes, drawn by one of the most portable credentialed professions available to them.

From the first day. Every class day includes supervised practice, where you go into a breakout room with a classmate and take turns as hypnotist and as client. You will experience hypnosis yourself as often as you facilitate it, which matters more than people expect, because knowing what it feels like from the inside makes you far better at guiding it. Then before you certify you complete at least five full sessions with people outside the class. By the end you have real hours behind you, not just notes.

Many of my students are licensed clinical social workers, psychotherapists, counselors, nurses and professional coaches, and they tend to describe the same thing. Talk therapy is valuable, but it works largely within the conscious mind, and that can feel slow. Hypnosis accelerates the work you already do. By moving past the conscious mind's critical factor you reach the place where the patterns and the programs actually live. Adding interactive techniques like Parts Therapy, inner child work and regression to cause lets you help a client find and release a block in far less time than talking around it. Your license stays your baseline authority. This is a tool that makes it go further.
