This is a complete 220 hour professional certification taught personally by second generation hypnotherapist Mark Johnson, delivered through a live, interactive online classroom. You practice on real people every single class day, under live supervision, and graduate ready to see paying clients.

Why Has Training Like This Been So Hard to Get in Hawaii?

Geography, until now. The mainland institutes never toured the islands, so every serious hypnotherapy credential in Hawaii historically cost a plane ticket, weeks of lodging, and time away from work and family that many island households simply could not spare. The live online classroom removes every one of those barriers at once: same demonstrations, same supervised practice, same certification, no TSA line.

That access advantage cuts both ways: because the barrier was high, the islands have remarkably few thoroughly certified hypnotherapists, which means the student who trains now steps into one of the most open markets in the country.

What Does the Certification Involve for Hawaii Students?

The complete 220 hours from home: 110 live across three Thursday through Sunday modules, every other week, in the early morning island hours, plus 110 self directed hours, the reading, the video library and five real practice sessions with people outside class, on whatever schedule the islands allow. An exam we prepare for together in class completes it.

You certify through the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, recognized worldwide, first year of membership included, with six months of the Good Vibes Hypnosis Training Mentorship Program, a live group session on the third Tuesday of every month, included while the practice takes root.

What is the honest catch for Hawaii students?

The clock, so here it is straight: class runs 10 to 6 Central, which is early morning to early afternoon Hawaii time, starting at 5 or 6 depending on the season. Island students tell me the trade is worth it: the day ends by early afternoon with the whole evening free, and the alternative used to be an airfare. Coffee helps. The week off between modules helps more.
