What Does the Hypnotherapy Certification Involve for Hawaii Students?

The complete 220 hours from home, 110 live across three Thursday through Sunday modules, every other week, in the early morning island hours, plus 110 self directed hours, the reading, the video library and five real practice sessions with people outside class, on whatever schedule the islands allow. An exam we prepare for together in class completes it.

You certify through the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, recognized worldwide, first year of membership included, with six months of the Good Vibes Hypnosis Mentor Circle, a live group session on the third Tuesday of every month, included while the practice takes root.

What is the honest catch for Hawaii students?

The clock, so here it is straight, class runs 10 to 6 Central, which is early morning to early afternoon Hawaii time, starting at 5 or 6 depending on the season. Island students tell me the trade is worth it, the day ends by early afternoon with the whole evening free, and the alternative used to be an airfare. Coffee helps. The week off between modules helps more.

I would rather show you how the math works than quote an average. The published figures blend employees with private practices and full timers with part timers, so they tell you very little about what you would actually earn.

How you charge makes the biggest difference. Some practitioners charge by the session, some by the hour, and some by the solution, where the client pays for the result rather than the time. That last approach rewards you for being effective, and a practitioner working that way can cover the cost of this training with a handful of clients.
