By the time you finish you have practiced on every class day under supervision and completed at least five full sessions with people outside of class, so seeing your first paying client is the next step rather than a leap. Many students start before the program even ends. The post training days exist partly for this, because four to six weeks after the last module you come back with real sessions behind you and real questions, and we work through them together.

The program totals 220 hours and certifies through the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, and your first year of membership and certification is included in your tuition. To earn the certified hypnotherapist designation you attend all 110 hours of live class, complete 110 hours of self directed study on your own time, which includes the reading list, the video library, and at least five complete hypnosis sessions with people outside of class, turn in a written homework assignment, pass the multiple choice exam we take in class during the final module, complete a short online ethics course through IACT, and submit one audio recording of an interactive session. The exam sounds more intimidating than it is. We take a practice test together first, so you walk in knowing exactly what to expect.
