Is There Enough Demand in Wyoming for This Work?

More than there are practitioners to meet it, by a wide margin. Stress, habits, fears and stuck patterns are not big city problems, and people in smaller communities often have nowhere local to take them. A trained hypnotherapist in Cheyenne is a scarce resource, and scarcity is a fine position to open a practice from. And because you train online from day one, your practice is never fenced by the city limits anyway. My graduates see clients across the country from towns much smaller than this one.

How Do the Class Hours Work From Cheyenne?

Gently. Class runs 10:00 to 6:00 Central, which is 9:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon in Wyoming, an ordinary working day. We meet Thursday through Sunday every other week, three modules, twelve class days in all, so a standard work week gives up six days across the entire certification. The 110 self directed hours happen on your own schedule, which matters in a state where the drive is often the longest part of any commitment.

Your first induction happens on your first day, demonstrated live and then practiced with a classmate in a supervised breakout room, with an Ask for Help button that brings me in the moment you want another set of eyes. What Wyoming students tend to bring instead of credentials is steadiness, and steadiness turns out to be the best raw material this work gets.

Can a city the size of Cheyenne support a hypnotherapy practice?

Our modules are scheduled in Central Time, which is only one hour ahead of Cheyenne, making it very convenient for Wyoming students to participate in live training.

Absolutely. This foundational 110 hour live training is the specific requirement for those in the Cheyenne area moving toward Life Between Lives (LBL) work.

In most of the United States, no. Hypnosis is a self regulated field, and in the great majority of the country there is no state licensing board, no government exam and no degree requirement standing between you and seeing clients. Your professional standing comes from certification through a recognized body, which for my graduates is the International Association of Counselors and Therapists.

That said, a handful of states do have their own rules, usually about what you may call yourself in your marketing, or a simple client disclosure form, or registering with the state. Those rules change, so I am not going to state anything here as settled law for where you live.

We go through what applies to you in class, before you build a website or write your intake paperwork, and I would always tell you to confirm your own state for yourself rather than take a web page's word for it, mine included. If you already hold a clinical license, that license stays your baseline authority and you start from a strong position.
