Mobile always gets overshadowed by New Orleans. Does that matter here?

It is the whole opportunity. Yes. The IACT certification is recognized in Alabama and internationally, so your Mobile practice is built on a credential recognized worldwide.

Classes run 10:00 to 6:00 Central Time, and Mobile is Central, so class time is your time, no conversion needed.

Regularly, yes. Students from Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and the Florida panhandle are a steady presence in these classes, so practice partners who understand the Gulf South come built in.

Most of my students take six to nine months from their first class day to holding the certification, and the quickest finish in three to four.

The range exists because the program has two halves that run at different speeds. The live half is fixed, twelve class days across three modules, Thursday through Sunday every other week, plus the two post training days about four to six weeks after the final module, so the classroom portion spans three to four months. The other 110 hours are self directed and self paced, and that is the part that stretches or compresses around your own life. You have six months after the last class day to finish them, so nobody is racing, and most people use a fair portion of that window.

That is less time than most people assume for a genuine 220 hour certification and considerably more than a weekend course would have you believe. One honest note. Certified and confident are not the same milestone, which is why six months of mentorship is included after you finish.

No one gets stuck. Trance is a natural state of focused attention that you move in and out of on your own all the time, on a long drive or lost in a book. A client can open their eyes and stand up whenever they choose. Safety in this work is much less about the trance itself and much more about knowing what to do when something emotional surfaces, which is precisely what the supervised practice and the clinical training are for. You will not be improvising.
