What Does the Schedule Look Like From Tampa?

Class runs 11 in the morning to 7 in the evening Eastern, three modules of four days each, Thursday through Sunday, every other week. For someone still working, that is six days off spread across six weeks. For someone happily done working, it is simply twelve engaged days with a week off between each set.

The 110 self directed hours, the reading, the video library, and five practice sessions with people outside class, happen on your schedule, and I am reliably told the reading list pairs well with a lanai and an iced tea. There is no government body that accredits hypnotherapy schools the way one accredits a college, because hypnosis is a self regulated field, so accreditation in this profession comes from the professional associations rather than the state. This course is accredited by the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, I hold IACT accreditation myself as a Certified Master Trainer, and your first year of IACT certification and membership is included in your tuition.

The practical test of any online course is not whether the word accredited appears somewhere on the website. It is which body stands behind the training, how many hours it actually runs, and whether anyone experienced ever watched you guide a real person. Ask a school those three things and the answer gets clear very quickly.

It is one of the most natural transitions I see. Bodyworkers come to me saying some version of the same thing, that the stamina is not what it was and they cannot picture doing this for another fifteen years. You already know how to hold space for someone, how to be trusted with a body and a nervous system, how to notice what a person is not saying. Hypnotherapy asks for all of that and none of the physical toll. Many bodyworkers add it alongside their existing practice at first and let it grow as their hands do less.
