Can I Keep My Job While I Train?

That is how the schedule was designed, and Charlotte's banking hours fit it neatly. We meet Thursday through Sunday every other week, three modules, twelve days total, which costs a Monday to Friday professional six days of leave across the entire certification. Class runs 11:00 to 7:00 Eastern. The self directed hours flex around your calendar, and building your practice as a weekend warrior while the salary continues is the exact path I took myself.

More than a diploma and a handshake. The final fourteen training hours come after you have been out practicing, timed for the questions that only real sessions produce. You keep the complete resource library for good, your first year of IACT membership and certification is included, and six months of the Good Vibes Hypnosis Mentor Circle come as part of your tuition, a live monthly group where cases, sticking points and practice building get worked through together.

Hypnosis training teaches you the skill. Certification is a professional body confirming you met a standard. You can learn to guide someone into trance from a weekend workshop or a video course and never certify at all, and plenty of people do exactly that. Certification adds three things that matter once you intend to charge for this. There is an outside standard you had to meet rather than self assess, the professional membership that clients, other practitioners and insurers recognize, and a body of ethics you are accountable to.

The distinction people miss is that certification alone does not make anyone skilled either, because the standards behind it vary enormously. That is why the hours and the supervised practice are the thing to look at first, and the certification second. This program gives you both, 220 hours of actual training and certification through the International Association of Counselors and Therapists at the end of it.

Anxiety and stress, confidence and self worth, habits including smoking, fears and phobias, performance blocks, and the patterns people cannot think their way out of no matter how clearly they see them. One of my clients was a chiropractor who had failed her state board exam four times, not from lack of knowledge but because the moment she hit a question she could not answer, panic locked up her memory.
