What Makes This Different From Other Hypnosis Trainings in Texas?

Lineage and practice, mostly. I built my own practice in Texas on what my father first showed me, and Texans have trained with me for more than two decades, first in person and now live online. This is not a script reading course. You learn interactive hypnosis, working conversationally with whatever the client brings, following their own words to the root of the pattern, and you practice it every single class day under live supervision.

No Travel

Do I Need to Travel to Take the Training From Austin?

Not one mile. Every hour of the certification, the live classes, the demonstrations, the supervised practice, the exam, happens from your home in Austin over a live, interactive Zoom classroom. We run on Central Time, the same clock you are already on, 10:00 to 6:00 on class days. Travel used to be the silent extra tuition of professional training. Removing it is a big part of why students tell me this turned out to be more doable than they expected.

Yes. Our IACT certification is fully recognized in Texas and internationally, and we walk through the professional landscape for Texas practitioners in class so you set up your Austin practice on solid ground.

We run on Central Time, the same clock as Austin, from 10:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the evening. No conversion math and no early alarms required.

It does. This foundational live training is the Newton Institute prerequisite, so the road from Austin to Life Between Lives work runs directly through this certification.

The live portion is 110 hours. We meet Thursday through Sunday, every other week, for twelve days across three modules. If you work a normal Monday to Friday week, that means taking only six days off in total, which is why this schedule exists in the first place. Class runs 10:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the evening Central Time, which is 11:00 to 7:00 Eastern and 8:00 to 4:00 Pacific. The final fourteen hours are what I call post training, two seven hour days that we schedule by class consensus about four to six weeks after the last module. That gap is on purpose. You go practice, you come back with real war stories and real questions, and we work through them together.

The program totals 220 hours and certifies through the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, and your first year of membership and certification is included in your tuition. To earn the certified hypnotherapist designation you attend all 110 hours of live class, complete 110 hours of self directed study on your own time, which includes the reading list, the video library, and at least five complete hypnosis sessions with people outside of class, turn in a written homework assignment, pass the multiple choice exam we take in class during the final module, complete a short online ethics course through IACT, and submit one audio recording of an interactive session. The exam sounds more intimidating than it is. We take a practice test together first, so you walk in knowing exactly what to expect.
